Starr offers a range of testing solutions for clients of all sizes, including for-cause, random, pre-employment, and post-incident testing. These services are provided globally using best-in-class equipment supplied through OdiliaClark.
The two main types of testing are:
Impairment Testing: This type of test detects active substances that may be affecting an employee at the time of testing. It is typically used for random and for-cause testing and offers a detection window of up to 48 hours after substance use.
Lifestyle Testing: Usually employed for pre-employment screening, lifestyle testing can also support self-referrals. It identifies patterns of regular use rather than isolated incidents, helping to flag risky behaviours. The detection window ranges from 10 days to six months prior to the sample being taken.
